Where the apples came from

In case anyone wondered…

this is where I got those delightful Macintosh apples I mentioned in my diary recently.

In English, the sign says “How about apples,” which is pretty generic. In French, it says “Why not an apple?” which is defeatist.

The yellow paper says to put your money in the green box, and that apples are five dollars a bag. The bag in front of the box is full of gourds, also five dollars, but not as tasty.
