I had a chance to play “That’s The Miracle” for master songwriter Steve Poltz in the Roots Music Canada studios.
My good buddy Andy Frank was crafty enough to capture the moment on video as Steve Poltz and his road manager Chris Modl gave me the gift of their ears.
It means the world to me to have a great songwriter praise the work I’ve done, and Steve’s among the best. He’s most famous for co-writing “You Were Meant For Me,” a massive hit for Jewel, but his own material is superb – including the new album, Dreamhouse, produced by Joel Plaskett.
If you get a chance to hear Steve live, don’t miss it. He’s utterly whimsical and brilliant – a jester genius.
