Meghan and I were married on Saturday, October 8 – my parents’ 45th anniversary – in the Ganaraska Forest.
With pines and hemlocks towering overhead, brook water babbling and the afternoon sun dappling the autumn leaves, the setting was idyllic.
Surrounded by friends and family, we committed ourselves to one another in a ceremony that we felt highlighted the deeply spiritual nature of this journey we have chosen.
We thank everyone who has reached out to surround us with love at this incredible moment in our lives. The feeling of being received and supported by our community has truly been life-changing.
We’ve made a promise to one another, to ourselves, to those who love us, and to the Divine.
The vows have been said. The knot has been tied.
We belong – not to each other, but to this journey.
On we go.

Who’s that clean cut guy in the wedding picture? Oh, and congratulations to the both of you.

On my wedding day some 40+ years ago Daniel Levy my Grandfather said to me that morning as all were running around getting ready, “Remember this is a knot you tie with your tongue that you can’t untie with your teeth”.
God bless you both on your journey.
