The heart of the city

I never complained about Toronto during the time I lived there, and I won’t complain now that I’ve left.

Still, I can’t help but notice a few differences between the big city, and the small town I now live in.

Seems the biggest of all is the sense of connectedness.

In a small town, you feel ‘we’re all in this together.’

In a big city, it’s easy to feel the opposite, and wonder where, exactly, is the heart of the city?

But that’s just me, thinking out loud.
