I’m thrilled to be kicking off Brampton Folk Club‘s very dynamic 2024/2025 fall season with a multi-media performance of In Search Of Lost Trees.
This show features original stories, songs and photographs touching on family, memory and ecology. It was inspired by a return to my old tree-planting ground in the summer of 2023, as fires ravaged the boreal forest.
Accompanied by my 10-year old son, I went looking for the first trees I had planted, in the summer of 1990… and found so much more!
I’ve had a couple of really good gigs in Brampton, including Brampton Folk 2 years ago, and I’m looking forward to sharing this show, which will also feature accompaniment by Jakeb Daniel on guitar and piano.
