The end of the world is predicted for tomorrow, and I’ve never made a “bucket list.” I think they’re tacky, and anyway, what’s the point now? It’s only going to add to the disappointment.
Instead, I’ve made a list of things I won’t regret not having done when my time comes, tomorrow or later. Ask me how I feel about doing anything on this list, I’ll give you two words that rhyme with bucket.
1. Deep-sea caving? Rhymes-with-bucket!
2. American Idol? Rhymes-with-bucket!
3. Body-piercing? Rhymes-with-bucket!
4. Bungee-jumping? Rhymes-with-bucket!
5. Eating fugu? Rhymes-with-bucket!
6. Deep space tourism? Rhymes-with-bucket!
7. Running with bulls? Rhymes-with-bucket!
8. Running for office? Rhymes-with-bucket!
9. Playing the bagpipes? Rhymes-with-bucket!
10. Apocalypse-watching? Rhymes-with-bucket!
Put a groove behind it, and you have a song. Rap for the rapture! Try it yourself, it’s easy and fun – and it sure beats worrying about the end of the world.
